Uganda: Abantu Barenga 800 Batewe Inkingo Za COVID-19 Za Magendu

Abantu basaga 800 bo mu Mujyi wa Kampala muri Uganda bimaze kumenyekana ko kuva mu kwezi gushize batewe inkingo ziswe iza COVID-19 kandi ari magendu, none bamwe bamaze kwitaba Imana.

Umuyobozi w’Ishami ry’Ubugenzuzi bw’Urwego rw’Ubuzima mu biro by’umukuru w’igihugu, Dr Wallen Naamara, yabwiye abanyamakuru ko abakekwako icyo cyaha barimo umuganga ubu barimo gushakishwa.

Bashinjwa ko bashutse ibigo by’ubucuruzi n’abantu batandukanye, bakabatera inkingo z’inyiganano hagati ya tariki 15 Gicurasi na 17 Kamena. Mu gihe leta urukingo irutangira ubuntu, abandi bo barugurishaga hagati ya Shs 100,000 na Shs 200,000.

Kuri uyu wa Kabiri abagenzacyaha bafashe abaforomo babiri mu gace ka Nakawa, bakekwaho gutanga izo nkingo zitizewe. Bikekwa ko ibirango byari kuri ayo macupa yiswe ay’inkingo byibwe cyangwa bigakorerwa i Kampala.

Dr Naamara yakomeje ati “Hafi y’inkingo za Covid-19 zose usanga ari 5ml, ariko izi zo ntabwo zisa na 5ml, urasanga zirenga ndetse n’uburyo hejuru y’agacupa hameze, bisa neza n’inyiganano.”

Yavuze ko abo baforomo bafashwe, basobanura ko izo nkingo bazihabwaga n’umuganga witwa Dr Francis Baguma na we ubu urimo guhigishwa uruhindu.

Yavuze ko abagenzacyaha babonye igitabo kirimo amazina y’abantu n’ibigo bahawe izo nkingo, harimo nka Dott Services, Diamond Trust Bank, United Bank of Africa, Tororo Cement, Uganda Bati, Madhvani, Seven Hills, Dot Maxs Packaging n’amazina y’abantu ku giti cyabo basaga 800.

Kugeza ubu muri Uganda hamaze kwandura abantu 79,977 mu gihe abapfuye ari 1023.

Mu bipimo 6059 byafashwe ku wa 28 Kamena 2021 habonetsemo abanduye bashya 543, aho ijanisha ku bandura ryari 10.7%.

Abamaze gukingirwa muri rusange ni 856 025.
